Start Moving in a Different Direction to Better Fitness - It's Spring!

Spring is just around the corner, even though the calendar said it started on the 22nd of April. For those of us who just saw the last of the snow melt it is a welcome relief.
Florida has a wonderful climate most of the year, except for hurricanes and the rainy season, while the rest of the country is under snow or rain clouds all winter.
Christmas, Thanksgiving and the rest of the winter holidays are a great time to get together with family and friends, and, put on a lot of extra weight. You probably do not need a reminder that summer is coming fast. You may have not gained any weight. There is the distinct possibility, especially if your're over 40, that you have changed muscle to fat, yet weigh no more than you did last year.
If you do not have any idea where to start, use this list. Start vividly imagining the result and begin to re-program your subconscious mind. Replay the images as often as you can every day.
• What one thing would keep your going toward your goal?
• Do you have plans for this summer that you can't do physically?
• Does your family give you any support to improve your health?
• What do you want to feel like in 90 days?
• Is your diet the problem?
• Do you need to get moving?
• What habits do you need to start building to help yourself?
Only now, and especially in this country, the United States, is anyone able to learn as much and apply it to their lives. It is very clear that if any change is going to stick it has to come from you, and continue to be supported by you. No one else has as much interest in making the changes as you do.
Nothing of lasting value will come to you without a great deal of sweat and tears.
Do I have to work?
If you thought you would not have much work to do stop reading this and go back to what your were doing.
For those of you still reading there is actually no way of getting around the necessity of work to realize the great things in life. Even if you inherit a great deal of money there is always a sense of satisfaction that comes from achieving a worthy goal after a great deal of work.
